Meet the Founder

Michael is the Managing Director of APEX Real Estate Contracting, where he oversees project execution, capital structuring, feasibility analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. Prior to founding APEX he held roles within private equity firms where leading investor relations, capital project budgeting, regulatory strategy, and real estate syndications for commercial real estate investments nationwide. His early experience in student housing investments further refined his skills in asset management and capital reporting with institutional capital partners.

Mike’s portfolio of real estate project experience—including multifamily, senior housing, and mixed-use development—collectively exceeds $1.5 billion in value. Before entering the private sector, Mike served in the United States Marine Corps, where he led operational, fiscal, and logistical teams across multiple domestic and international locations. His military experience instilled a discipline and strategic mindset that continues to inform his leadership.

Mike holds an MBA in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business, and a BSBA in International Business from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, further enhanced by study abroad programs at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and ICESI University in Cali, Colombia.

In addition to his leadership at APEX Real Estate Contracting, Mike is the Group Leader for ProVisors Denver 7, a national network of trusted advisors where he fosters strategic business development and cross-sector collaboration. He also serves on the Board of Directors at WorldDenver, contributes to Salute Colorado veteran programs, and is a member of the City2City Munich-Denver Economic Partnership, supporting global city growth initiatives.

In his personal time, Mike enjoys hiking with his two German Shepherds, skiing, and embracing Colorado’s active lifestyle. His commitment to excellence, service, and global connectivity continues to shape the impact of APEX Real Estate Contracting across industries and borders.
